Division manager of USAgain Minneapolis will work toward sustainability in Minnesota
NEW BRIGHTON, MN – USAgain is proud to announce the appointment of Greg Nelson to the Recycling Association of Minnesota Board of Directors. Nelson is currently division manager of USAgain’s Minneapolis division, located in the New Brighton.
As a RAM board member, Nelson will work toward increasing recycling in Minnesota over the course of his upcoming two-year term. He looks forward to bringing his experience in the textile recycling industry to RAM and making Minnesota the most sustainable state possible.
“I’m truly excited for the opportunity to serve on the RAM board and work with the premier recycling association in the state,” said Nelson. “I’ve always been a huge supporter of RAM’s goals and felt like they fit well with my personal and professional objectives. I’m excited for what we can accomplish.”
Greg’s experience with USAgain will undoubtedly help as he works with private and public sector recycling advocates on the RAM Board. As division manager, he has overseen the operation of over 1900 collection sites in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. In 2012, USAgain Minneapolis diverted over 10 million pounds of textiles from landfills.
